Hello,
I have 4 x WD 8TB disks and I want to set them up as RAID 5 on my Asustor AS1004T.
I can make only one Volume.
This volume is 16 TB, whereas it should be 24 TB .
The user manual states Volume size is max 16 TB.
Is it possible to create multiple Volumes?
The icon is greyed and does not work.

You may create 2 volumes: RAID-5 volume with 3 disks + single disk volume.

If you have already made a Raid Array of the four disks, you will need to break this array to make a new one. That means any data on it will be lost. Back it up, and then break the array, then remove the three disks you don't want in the array. Initialize the single disk. Then add in the three disks and make Volume 2. This is how I have my AS-7004T set up right now.
