AS1002T breakdown

Post by leesh »

Dear all,

I am new to AS1002T, no sure below question has been asked before or not.

If my AS1002T has breakdown but no damage on the raid disks inside, can I install those raid disks in another AS1002T to access the original data?

Thanks in advance for all your helps.

Assuming there is no physical damage to the data on those disks, yes, you should be able to remove from the old NAS and put them directly into a new one, even if it's a different model. I have done this on several occasions and it has worked perfectly for me every time.

One more question, is it possible to direct access the data from one of Raid 1 disk via Linux system?

Thanks.
