ASUSTOR AS7004T memory upgrade to 16GB

I'm considering a memory upgrade using one of the following kits and wondering if anyone knows it will work. The Kingston has better latency but is DDR3L (1.35V):

Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) Laptop Memory CMSX16GX3M2A1600C10

Kingston Technology HyperX Impact 16GB Kit 1600MHz DDR3L CL9 SODIMM 1.35V Laptop Memory (PC3 12800) HX316LS9IBK2/16 Black

Bought the memory from ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/16GB-2x-8GB-DDR ... 3a89d6067b

Works great, but it will require voiding the warranty as you have to break the security sticker to add in the 2nd 8GB stick, replacing the 2GB that comes stock.

I do NOT believe going with the low voltage DDR3L from Kingston is a good idea. However, I am new at this, but when I was in Canada Computers inquiring about RAM on a different product, the salesman was going to recommend such and such then quickly pulled it away mumbling something about it not being the right voltage. Personally, I wouldn't mess with a voltage change; the AS7004T is a thing to behold. I was going to get one, but the doctor was only willing to give me $300 for my pancreas...

In my AS7008T I have replaced the memory with Samsung 16GB Dual Channel Kit 2 x 8GB 204 pin DDR3L 1600 SO-DIMM. Runs without problems.

Bei meinen AS7008T habe ich den Speicher mit Samsung 16GB Dual Channel Kit 2 x 8 GB 204 pin DDR3L 1600 SO-DIMM ersetzt. Läuft ohne Probleme.

I got a QNAP TVS-471 instead and upgraded with Patriot PSA316G1600SK (DDR3 16GB 1600)
