I have the AS5110T. I have a question

So I have 10 disks running in Raid 6.

Let's say I decided to upgrade to a newer Asustor NAS box with better components.

How would I go about doing this and not lose data\the Raid 6?

thanks

Assuming that the unit you go to has at least 10 bays, you would just take those drives out of the 5110T and plug them into the new unit.

The new device needs to have the same number of bays as the other. Or you risk losing data when you have to re-initialize the drives.

I did this going from a 202T (32-bit) to a 7004T (64-bit) and the only thing I needed to do was upgrade some apps.
