Sharkoon raid station

Hi,
I need to know if there is any drop of speed/unresponsiness to a external hdd/cage attached to USB3 with jmicron chip? I have a Sharkoon raid station and need to know if it will work on a as-608t because my nas today,of another brand ;), get unresponsive when transfer large files to it. This is a deal breaker for me so I need to know before I buy one AsusTor.

I do not have Shakoon raid station but I got Raidon GR5630 which I quickly check got JM539 + JMB393. I transferred 5 mvk movie from and to it within File Explorer of AS-604T and it went through very smoothly. I do not find any unresponsiveness as you mentioned...
