It's not as bad as the OP's post here, but I can confirm that a process called ECD was hogging up 25% to 30% of all the CPU resources and wouldn't let them go. Apparently there is a fix coming for this soon.

G.Skill F3-10666CL9S-2GBSQ - http://www.gskill.com/products.php?index=144
It's been running for about a week now without any issues. I will report back if anything unusual starts happening.

Re: Upgrade RAM
Since upgrade to OS v1.0.6.R1G4, this issue seems to have been fixed.

Re: Upgrade RAM
I am using the same 8 chips Kingston Memory Module (KVR1333D3S8S9/2G), works fine on AS-608T
also the 8 chips Samsung M471B5773CHS-CH9 (2GB 1Rx8 PC3-10600S-09-10-ZZZ), works fine on AS-608T
After tested with a bunch of 2GB memory (> 8chips) cannot power on the NAS

Re: Upgrade RAM
I'm using corsair value select ram pc3-1333 2GiB - p/n CMSO2GX3M1A1333C9 - though I'd like to remove the 1GiB stick and upgrade it to 2GiB too - why that wasnt done before for the extra couple of $ it would have cost is beyond me.
