RAM

Post by Seanb »

My Asustor 6702t comes with 4GB RAM. Can I just add 6 GB of Crucial laptop RAM 3200 for a total of 12 GB?

8GB, rather than 6GB. Yes, you'll need to make sure SODIMM you bought is compatible. https://www.asustor.com/en-gb/services/memory?id=memory

Yes, 8 GB (my typo). It's not listed. :( There are not a lot of listings for 67 series NASes. The module is the correct volts, size, and speed. Fingers crossed (or did I mess up)?

Here is https://shop.asustor.com/index.php?rout ... duct_id=98. If yours is compliant to DDR4, 1.2V, 260Pin SODIMM, I guess it should be all right.

Thanks for that. I missed it. $159 is a lot for 8 GB, though, n'est-ce pas?

What I got is this, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08C4Z69LN?ps ... ct_details, and it's $25. Fingers crossed.

See my thread here: https://forum.asustor.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=12912 . The RAM needs to be 1x8R as 1x16R prevents the NAS booting.
