Fan speed error

Hello everyone! I ask for your help to understand how to solve a problem that occurs when I turn on my Asustor as6404t. The following message appears on the display: "Fan Speed Abnorm Please check it". I tried to change the fan speed but nothing happens ... the message (with relative buzzer) is always present.

Hi,

First, before suspecting software, verify hardware (open the box)
... if fan run ?
... if manual change have effect (Admin WebUI control panel / hardware/ fan) ?
... if the fan power cable is correctly connected to the 4 pins plug.?

Thanks Philippe for your quick reply! I don't understand ... an hour after I wrote the post in the forum, the LED on the display went from red to yellow and then everything went back to normal. I have restarted the Ausustor and now it works fine. I will still do a box check as you suggested. Thanks again for your advice Philippe!
