How are things a few weeks on? Any problems crashes, etc?
Out of curiosity, are you using the AS6604T as a NAS, media server, other?
Cheers & Thanks

Re: Memory compatibility AS6604T
Any luck in trying the 2x 16GB memory?TheNewHP wrote:
Great to read this! Leaves the question if 2 x 16GB will also work. So I will order 2x 16GB and keep my fingers crossed. Will post to inform you about the result (they are hard to get here in the Netherlands, might take some time).
Thanks HP
I am just ready to pull the plug and order a Lockerstor 4, with 4x EXOS 18TB drives. As it is shipping overseas, I want to get memory at same time. Asustor's memory list is so outdated, they really need to work on it!

Well, I went ahead and took the plunge on the 2x 16Gb sticks. If all else fails, I'll just dump them into my lappie!
Should get my hands on everything in a couple weeks and will post back my findings and success (or not...)
Cheers

I have not had any issues. I've thought about getting another 16GB but don't really need it right now.MadDogDean wrote:Looking to do EXACTLY the same. The recommended Kingston memory is discontinued!!ByGS109 wrote:I added 1 of these to my AS6604T for 20GB without any issues.

I'm using the using the AS6604T as a NAS and server running Grafana, InfluxDB in Docker containers using Portainer.

Re: Memory compatibility AS6604T
Well, well, well..... AS6604T delivered , RAM modules delivered , still waiting on drives
Just want to let you all know that the system is running & purring like a tiger on 32GB RAM!!! I took a chance and just did it all at once - WHAM-O!
I pulled off the outside cover, back cover, NVMe mount, side plate and then slid the mainboard out. Swapped out the old RAM for the NEW, put it all back together, fired it up and TADA! 32GB no problems.
While it was open I added 2x 512GB NVMe sticks I pulled out of my old laptop.
Just waiting on the drives and this thing will be a rocket to the moon.
So, for anyone thinking of upgrading RAM, I went with the recommended PNY 16GB modules, pn MN16GSD42666.
Now just waiting for Amazon with the drives...
Cheers and thanks to all for your info and postings.
