How much space can my NAS hold?

Hi everyone, I have an ASUSTOR AS6208T NAS purchased 2/3 years ago.
I wanted to understand how many Giga NAS it supports for each Hard Disk?
Because I explain you I bought this NAS on Amazon and in the description it was written that you could add for each 8TB slot up to a maximum capacity of 64TB total

while the asustor website says that I can put 16TB Hard Disks with a maximum capacity of 128 TB

given the two different information I am confused.

I wanted to buy a 16TB Hard Disk but I wanted to be sure that my NAS supports it afterwards.

thanks.

I believe there are no problems for bigger size than 16TB, if your can find the model in the market. A good way is to check the compatible list that asustor tested: https://www.asustor.com/en-gb/service/hd?id=hd

Hi, but I meant no which hard drive is compatible
I wanted to know how many Giga my NAS supports

my NAS contains 8 containers where I can put hard drives I wanted to know each container up to how many Gigabytes it supports
I came to insert an 8TB hard disk and it works
I wanted to understand if it also supported 16TB hard drives

If you mean volume capacity (how many Gigabytes), yes, those disks on the compatible list support. For example, 16TB * 8 RAID-5, the volume size should be near to 16TB * 7.
