Hi all,

Im receiving my nimbustor 4 shortly and pretty excited. My intentions are to use it for a media server/player/downloader and surveillance. My equipment is as follows and i have questions about the best way to use it:

2x8tb drives
1x256gb ssd 2.5
1x128gb ssd 2.5
4 wyze cams which can be used as generic ip cameras via rtsp protocol.

i have not seen much info i quite understand about ssd cache. am i to use the 2 8tb drives as their own pool, and then use the other two slots for the ssds drives to be used as cache? Whats the best configuration?

does the surveillance app even support a generic device not listed?

Yes, you can do that.

I believe it's better to choose IPCam that asustor tested. Too many compatible issues among huge amount of IPCam devices.
