AS5004T won't boot

NAS will not boot. When applying power, fan runs at high speed. After pressing power button, 4 HD lights turn solid green and top network LED solid blue. I can hear hard drive powering up but that is it. System will remain in this state indefinitely. I tried connecting a monitor to the HDMI port to see any Power On Self Test (POST) messages but nothing. I connected WireShark to the Ethernet port to see if it powered up with a default IP address but nothing also. I understand that the motherboard has a serial interface, what do I need to connect to it? I am very familiar with Linux I am not worried to get my hands dirty. I do have my data backed up but right now my Plex server is down because the media files are all on the NAS... HELP!
