I wasn't too happy with the Android AIremote app, so I went looking for a nice small remote keyboard.

I found the RiiTek i4 mini keyboard, and it works very nice. It has a mouse pad, two big mouse buttons, volume buttons, a scroll wheel, etc. You can use it with its own WiFi dongle for the Asustor, or with BlueTooth for your phone or other devices.

RiiTek has many other models as well, but I like this one the most.

For my own, I used (depend of the situation)
... with a table : Unifying Logitech keyboard and mouse
... without
... ... Ri mini 8 (with Azerty latin-9 X keyboard layout)
... ... Droidmote in Android with my phone (server need in NAS) ... the advantage is that droidmote work at low level, just under Xorg as standard input (mouse emulation and keyboard), so independent of software itself (Kodi, PlexMediaPlayer, etc.) and also independent of Asustor remote control.
