I have a 10-bay unit (AS6210T). Each drive is 4TB. The 10 drives are configured as 1 volume raid level 6. I regret not making two volumes or maybe even 3 but that is now in the past.
As drives die, I would like to look at replacing them with larger (8TB) drives. I believe that if I simply replace them as is, they would be formatted as 4TB which would defeat the purpose. Is there a way to start slowly replacing the 4TB drives with 8TB drives and still take advantage of the expanded storage? Eventually, I would have all drives at 8TB.
Thoughts?

Re: Upgrade my hard drives
You can replace with larger drives then expand the capacity. Take a look at point 3.2 of https://www.asustor.com/online/College_topic?topic=352
