Memory compatibility AS6604T

Hi All,

I read in this thread that you have equipped your ASUSTOR AS6604T with up to 32 GB of RAM!

I have two 8 GB modules left from my gaming notebook (msi GF75 THIN 10SDR), these have the following data:
Manufacturer: NANYA / Designation: NT8GA64D88CX3S-JR / Type: DDR4 SODIMM / Config: 1Rx8 / Speed: 3200Mbps
(ok., these are not listed as compatible at ASUSTOR)

I installed both 8 GB modules and I have the following problem:
Instead of the 16 GB, only 8 GB are displayed!
If only an 8 GB module is installed, only 4 GB will be displayed!
What is the problem?

Hello Erwin,
Please try to reseat each memory card in its slot. I don't think there is anything to lose. I had memory that was not recognized until I reinserted it three times.
