Asustor AS-602T Mac issues

Hello all!
I have a Asustor AS-602T that I connect to with both my PC and my Mac. The PC functions pretty much flawlessly, but the Mac has constant issues. The biggest one is that files don't update correctly. I'll try to explain... I create a file on my PC, a video out of After Effects, and a file shows up in my mac finder window, but it gives me an error when I try to open it. It says the file can't be found. The name of the file is also a little strange. If I eject the Nas in finder and go back, it is fine. Thoughts?
