I have installed VPN app in my NAS AS1002T and completed configuration including add ports 1723 and 1194 in NAS. I have telnet to both ports and confirm are opened. However I cannot login VPN server from my smartphone via PPTP. I got below 2 messages when my login is failed from the VPN server event log.
"Fri Mar 17 11:28:26 2017" xxxx pptp User Connected
"Fri Mar 17 11:28:27 2017" xxxx pptp User Disonnected
But there is not detail explanation why my attempt was disconnected immediately.
Sometimes I found below error message in VPN server event log then found corresponding error from NAS system log.
"Thu Mar 16 19:57:55 2017" SYSTEM pptp Login failed from 192.168.1.1 <---- VPN server event log
INFO 2017/03/16 19:57 SYSTEM [System] "vpnserver" login failure from IP "192.168.1.1" detected. <--- NAS system log
I am not sure whether these two messages are related or not.
Can anyone out there help me to solve above problem?

I had the similar issue, found out UDP port 500 is disabled. I tried to reset the port and reboot the NAS to no availability, I did add port-forwarding on my router still cannot solve...Anyone can advise?

check network defender, white list, trusted list : the IP range you have specified in VPN parameters must be whited.
I cannot help more, because using openvpn ( on smartphone and PC ).
