How to fix being Blocked from NAS

Tring to connect to my asustor nas. I get a message saying:

"You have been blocked for too many failed login attempts or you do not have permission to access the system.
If you are the owner of this system, you can use the reset button found on the back of the machine to restore a portion of your settings to their default values. "


I tried to reset but that doesnt fix it. I read that i should push reset until it beeps ...but even after a few minutes of holding with paper clip..... no beep.
Is there any other way to fix this. Now all I have is a $1100. paper weight.

Try logging in from a different IP address, Then unblock your IP from ADM defender.

This worked for me.

there is also a "TRUSTED LIST" under the ADM DEFENDER / NETWORK DEFENDER tab
