How to Log?

I am trying to setup a OPENVPN client using my VPN provider details. for some reason I am getting error 5601, cannot connect to server.
I raised a ticket with VPN provider and they are asking me for a log file.

In System info tool on Asustor there is a log tab. but it does not show any information about the openvpn connection failure. I checked system, connection and file log.
I have also tried selecting all protocols from preferences->management on the log tab but no luck. System start and shutdown events are shown but no openvpn failure log.

How do I setup a logging feature so that I can see detail information on the error I am getting while settings->VPN client configuration?

I don't know where the detailed log is. I think you should send a support request to asustor. http://support.asustor.com/
