How to remove just one drive from the array

Post by acdcking12 »

I have the AS5110T box with 7 disks. I do not see how to remove just one drive from the array and replace it with a different disk. Could someone explain that to me?

Do you setup your NAS as RAID-5 or RAID-6 among all 7 disks? If yes, you can simply remove the drive and replace it anytime. NAS should be able to detect the changes and do data synchronization automatically.
