Backup To Cloud

Post by Folorin »

Hi,

External Backup to USB can perform incremental backups.

Is it possible to do this to Cloud backup (S3). This would be an extremely useful feature as its currently trying to copy everything every time I run it.

Regards

Hi there,

We have made the Cloud Backup (S3) supports incremental backup by default. May I know how do you know it's trying to copy everything every time when you run it?

Thank you,

Hi,

I kicked the job off manually and it said it was copying video files that hadn't changed.

However, it did run overnight and only took 30 mins, so you may be right ! Is there any detailed log available of the backup's processing?

Hi there,

When the backup failed, there will be a log for the detailed info.
If it runs well, the system don't have detailed log to show what file(s) is been backup.
Thank you for the feedback, I will add this in our feature request list.
