confused regarding the differences between AS5304T to AS6404T

Hello,

I have been using AS6302T for a while now and I figured out I should upgrade to 4 bay solution. (full replacement and not as6004u extension)

I have two options AS6404T and AS5304T.
looking over the comparison :

It seems that AS5304T is mostly better:

* Has HDMI 2.0a
* Faster USB3.2 ports (though it lacks usb-c connector)
* DDR4 Memory
* Slightly better (or at least newer) CPU
* Faster ethernet

am I missing something?
with all this advantages, AS5304T costs less... is it because it only has a single 4 GB memory compared to S6404T that has 8GB, or there is some other reason why I should get AS6404T instead of AS5304T ?

Not missing anything, the AS6404T is just an older device, and somehow that weirdly seems to drive the price up with some resellers (Amazon UK has them fairly similarly priced, but that will obviously differ elsewhere).

The AS5304T is a newer and better device, so definitely go for it of those two.

Apparently, AS5304T enclosure is plastic.

The internal supporting frame (including back side) should be metal for all models. But AS5304T enclosure (and door cover) is plastic.

having plastic instead of aluminium , is there some negative implications beyond less premium feel\look?

sorry for my english,
what I meant is, is it a bad thing having plastic based instead of aluminium?
does it has a negative effect on noise? heat? durability ? or anything else I can't think of?
