Replace HDD with larger size in fully populated JBOD setup
Hi any help appreciated, I currently have all bays in my Asustor in use with smallish HDDS, and i want to replace one of them with a bigger drive but keep the data. I was hoping I could connect the new drive via USB and backup one of the old drives to the new larger one this way, then just swap the drives over, anyone know if this is possible or any better way of doing this as I cant seem to find any guide that isnt for replacing drives running RAID.

No, NAS does not support this way in JBOD configuration. The only way is to backup your data externally. Re-initialize your NAS with the new disks. Then copy data back. (I actually believe it's not a good way to configure NAS in JBOD mode.)
