Drives that disappear

Post by lenGoodwin »

I am running an AS1004T. Four drives (two at 4 TB) mirrored - RAID 1 as volume 1; two 1 TB disks mirrored as volume 2. I have had about six directories on volume 1 and two on volume 2. About six weeks ago I created two new directories on volume 1. Today, when I went to load files I discovered that one of those directories does not exist and that the second directory exists, but has no data. All four disks show as healthy. Running ADM 3.4.1R7Q.4. No log entries until today when I updated the ADM (after I discovered this problem). No idea where to begin trying to find the approximately 5 GB of data. Any help would be appreciated.

I guess the only possible way is that your computer did the deleting action from network. You can enable "network recycle bin" feature. In case that certain computers delete files, those files will move to network recycle bin.
