How can users be restricted to files when FTP is available?
I have 20 users, and I would like only 2 to be able to connect via FTP.
Currently anyone can do it - because Defender restricts access only by the IP, and not by the username
SECOND:
Is for ADM other FTP server app? On other NAS I have PureFTPd - and it works perfect, becouse have his own user config, with individual start up path (i.e. in anywhere )

Re: FTP User provilages
As an alternative way, you can set user access rights on the shared folder. However this way should affect all of protocols, not only ftp.

Re: FTP User provilages
It's not good idea, because in this way all user can login via FTP.
But i found longest way
Found folder ProFTPd => edit config => add line with LOGIN => DenyAll and Allow FTP_Group.
Minus - I must remember about correct this line after each changing user rights (Asustor reset then config files).
