How to connect to Drobo from AS65xx

I have Drobo network storage unit that I have on the ethernet network. My AS6508T is on the same LAN.
How to I mount the network Drobo unit so I can copy files from it to my AS6508T?
Is there a way rather than using my Windows PC as an in between?
Could I plug the Drobo into a network jack on the AS6508T?
