Hi all,
I recently purchased a new AS6602T, with 2 x 4tb IronWolf Pro drives, 2 x 256mb Samsung Evo SSD's (for cache), and have a Samsung USB drive pluged in to one of the rear USB 3 slots.
My problem is when I shut down it's hit and miss whether it completes or not. Often the Shutting Down message is displayed for hours and the device never turns off.
I've attached a copy of the logs. Does anyone else have this issue? Is this a faulty NAS or something corrupt within ADM?
Please help, as I like to shut my NAS between the hours of 1am and 8am, simply to save power, but also to get it off the network when not needed. No better prevention to malicious activity
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Re: AS6602T not shutting down probably
I encountered this too at times it's a bug alright. ADM should have the ability to force shutdown/reboot when services hangs. It's troublesome to do a remote reboot/shutdown when needed. I came up with an unofficial workaround. I planted a script that's triggered during shutdown, wait for say 60 seconds then force restart/shutdown. The down side is ADM will complain improper shutdown on the next start up.
