NAS - disks

Post by Arny »

Hi, not sure if this forum is the right one for my question. Anyhow many thanks for any advice.

I have an Asustor NAS for home use with 2 x 1TB disks, Raid 1. Now added another 4 TB disk. The idea is that the 1 TB disks are my essential data (documents etc.), and the 4 TB is a media storage only, so no much real risk in case of damage (for now).

My question is: how can i manage to have media files on the dedicate drive?

Thanks for any support.

Simply create volume-2 onto the new 4TB disk. Then, create a shared folder on this volume-2. Put your media files in this shared folder.
