I am using an ASUSTOR AS5304T with ADM version 4.0.0.RN53.
I want to activate the web service port in the Web Center but I always get the following error message, no matter which port number I select:
The specified port is being used by another service. Please select another port. (Ref. 5032)
What am I doing wrong?
Enabling Web Server is not possible

Did you try to change to another port?

Mine is just fine. Not sure what you tried. If you cannot provide detailed info here, I think you should send a support ticket to asustor directly. https://support.asustor.com/

Re: Enabling Web Server is not possible
I have the same problem. I also can't turn on the Web server on port 80 and 443. Error: The specified port is being used by another service. Please select another port. (Ref. 5032). Another port can be activated, but this is not desirable! I don't want the server to redirect port 80 and 443 to ADM! Where is the mistake? Netstat writes that it is used by myhttpd!

Yes, port 80 and 443 are occupied by ADM.

Re: Enabling Web Server is not possible - FIXED
This is an advanced intervention in the system, if you do not know what you are doing, do not do it. Before any intervention in the system, I recommend backing up the file !!!!
The [Web Services] section with "T80 and T443 ports" is probably still set up in "/usr/builtin/etc/resource.conf". As of ADM 4.0, it is not [Web services], but [webcenter]. You need to find [Web Services] and remove this section. Find the [webcenter] section and insert ports T80, T443 here. The result will be as follows:
[webcenter]
Display = Web Center
Port = T80, T443
Share = Web /
or optionally find a service that owns T80 and T443 ports.

Re: Enabling Web Server is not possible
Revised: ADM 4.0.0 supports web server using 80 and 443. I just tried these ports. It works. (The old ADM versions does not support it.)orion wrote:Yes, port 80 and 443 are occupied by ADM.

Nope. It is broken in ADM 4.0.0orion wrote:Revised: ADM 4.0.0 supports web server using 80 and 443. I just tried these ports. It works. (The old ADM versions does not support it.)orion wrote:Yes, port 80 and 443 are occupied by ADM.
Old ADM 3.5 supports Web Server on ports 80 and 443 and was working without issues.

This solution has no impact and does not work.mario_ili wrote:This is an advanced intervention in the system, if you do not know what you are doing, do not do it. Before any intervention in the system, I recommend backing up the file !!!!
