You don't have to use this generated password from the E-mail. You need your Registration e-mail and password what you have given in the NAS under REGISTRATION.
I had the same issue but i had to read well the asked parameters
I have written a Ticket too and hope it will be answered. Otherwise this NAS will be returned and i will buy another Synology.
What's your ticket number?

I got an answer and i am checking the mentioned solution today. It works but i don't understand why is this functionality "allowed" (created direrctories 2 or 4 times). The tipp is only a workaround in my opinion.
So i will write an answer on the weekend.
Could you check it too please?
