North American tech support

I have a ticket logged (8814) in for a unit that refuses to power on. It has not been actioned and it has been well over a month. Anyone know how to get in contact with tech support to get this repaired under warranty?

I am in Canada and would ideally like to speak to someone.

Hi phstrat,

I check with our support engineer, and he said.
1. power on without HDD, it can power on
2. However, the NAS will keep flashing green LED if it powered on with HDDs.
According to this symptom, it might not be the hardware issue.
He think it might be the filesystem problem on the HDDs.

So he suggest if you can setup the teamviewer for him to investigate, and try to repair the file system on drive.
He will need you .
1. Power on the NAS without HDDs
2. After NAS power on, plugs all your HDDs to the NAS.
3. He will use the teamviewr, and ssh connection to the NAS to investigate.

If you can provide him the remote access by teamviewer, we will help you asap.
