AS7008T and 36Mbit mkv

Good day to you all,

I am looking at the AS7008T but have a question at how wel it plays the HI bitrate mkv's or even Ultra HD files?
I rip my bly-rays to mkv and the bitrate of these sometimes are 36 Mbit ps (even higher). Anyone with experience with playing these kind of files?
And maybe there is someone who plays the new Ultra HD files tot there uhd tv.

I really like to know the performance. And i will be using xbmc.

Playing 1080p video through HDMI to 1080p TV. Default 2GB memory is enough...
Playing 4K video through HDMI to 4K TV. I recommend you upgrade another memory default 2GB + expansion memory 2GB (two bandwidth channel better performance)

Thanks for the response. I will indeed upgrade the memory to 16gb.

A 1080p movie is not always with the hi bitrate i mentioned. you can buy 1080p movies from itunes, but there far away from the bitrates of the mentioned mkv's. I was hoping anyone had any experience on this matter, maybe you?

I don't think it wil be a problem but just to be sure
