Hello all,
I'm thinking of buying my first NAS, and I think I will probably buy the AS202-T . I have a question about the MyArchive function. At the beginning I was thinking of using the NAS with 2 hard drives and to configure them with RAID 1.
But the MyArchive function did tickle my interest, and I'm wondering if it's possible to switch from RAID1 to the MyArchive function to store some of the data. Of course I would like to do this without loosing any data, I read in the documentation that if the bay is already occupied, I would have to reset the NAS to factory setting. Si if I understood correctly, if I use RAID1, the two bays will be occupied, and I won't be able to swap one of the hard drive to put a Myarchive hard drive?
Many thanks in advance for your answer .

Re: NAS AS202-T
That's right. You may need to consider the model with more trays.

Re: NAS AS202-T
Hi,
Thank you for your answer. I decided to keep a simple two bays, as I won't need more for now and my budget didn't allow me more
Now it's configuration time
Thank you,
Bye
