RAID-0 V JBOD
My AS-302T is about to be delivered in the next few hours. I didn't need any redundancy because all of my TV box sets are backed up on external hard drives. So I'm not going to use RAID-1. I have 2 WD REDs ready to go. What are the pros and cons of RAID-0 v JBOD.

Re: RAID-0 V JBOD
both are quite risky if any hard drive got bad sector...raid 0 is faster in speed though if need to choose from these 2.
if it is only the video that you put in, better that you use single?

Re: RAID-0 V JBOD
Hi Jim,
Sys is correct. RAID 0 will be faster than JBOD. For more information about different RAID volume types, please see our ASUSTOR College document:

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Thanks,
Allen
