Hi all
Just purchased a Asustor AS1002T v2 I would like some advice, up until this purchase I used Plex but is there anything better to use , because although I store other files and photos on my old heap of crap it is mainly for storing and watching films from.

AS1002 does not support media player.
Plex server is a good media server which you can play your media files with your Plex player (for example, TV Plex player app).

Jellyfin is a growing open source alternative to Plex.

It is not as polished at the moment but it is under active development so things are improving quickly.

Note: It runs in a docker container. I do not use the Jellyfin app from App central as it creates additional shares that I don't want. So I've set up my own container instead.
