Looking at getting a Asustor setup for a media plex setup.

Not sure on what one to go for at present couple of questions.

Can I add a SSD as a system operating drive, does it have to be in the bay. Is there any way to add without using a bay.

You cannot put OS onto external USB drives. OS should locate on one partition of every internal disk.
