Ps3NetSrv

Post by wildfirebill »

Not really a feature request but a app request. Ps3NetSrv allows you to play your legally owned games via server. Git source is located at https://github.com/aldostools/webMAN-MOD/releases
I have tried to install the dockerfile located here https://hub.docker.com/r/shawly/ps3netsrv but I can't get it to work properly.
Would appreciate it if anyone with more knowledge then me could create a app for ADM.

I can get ps3netsrv to run and listen on port 38008 but unfortunately I don't have a PS3 to test the webMAN MOD.

Using the dockerfile?
Desktop gui works great, but would like it to run from nas that way computer resources aren't being used. USB transfer speeds suck. And the ps3 system really only likes fat32 and isos over 4gb don't work.

Also I can't find the file location to place the games. I have purchased lots of psn games as well as disc games that I have converted to isos to preserve them from scratches.

Yes using docker, for Asustor you can replace the $HOME volume to /share/Docker/ps3netsrv which will point to /games in the container.

I'm using from the terminal because I find it's faster but yeah you can also do from portainer.

edited: just use -d, instead of -dit, -it (interactive and tty) not necessary for detach, I'm used to the bad habit typing them as if running exec or attached.
