Greetings.
Currently when we want to create a certificate we have to input the domain name, the email and then list all the alternative names one by one.
So if we want to register the domain mydomain.myasustor.com and 10 different subdomains (site1.. site10).mydomain.myasustor.com we would have to input them all as alternative names.
Synology allows for users to input wildcards on the alternative names so we sould only have to input *.mydomain.myasustor.com.
The second way is way more flexible as it allows adding more sites in the future without having to ask for a new certificate.
You can check how it works on a Synology NAS here:

Allow creating certificates with wildcards on the alternate name

You should open a ticket to Asustor Support and make that request.
