Face recognition

I just bought two Asustors together, one for the office (1002t v2) and another for my home (6302t), and was frustrated to see there is no face recognition in the photo gallery app. Synology and Qnap have this feature, and it is mostly based in software so I wonder why Asustor doesn`t. I don`t know if there are 3rd party apps that would work though. I prefer to keep my photos and videos safe, at home.
