I can't download apps anymore

Hi everyone, today I was updating the Plex app but for some reason it failed to update and now I can no longer do any operations regarding the apps
I'm afraid to do a factory reset because I have four hard drives inside the NAS and I don't want to lose all my files.

the NAS is this: asustor AS6208T

when I try to update the Main Apps section after a few minutes I get this message:

Unable to connect to Application Central server or connection timeout. Try again later. (Ref. 5608)

I also tried to insert the DNS servers: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
but I have not solved. : '(


how can i fix it without losing my files in hard drives?

This is in the feature request forum.
But since you asked, take a backup to a USB disk and start a fresh. Backups of the NAS (which is a single point of failure) are important!

You could also contact Asustor support they might be able to help, but either way you need to buy a big USB disk and backup
