Hi,
I moved during the week-end, so I cleanly shutdown the NAS, no problem there. At my new place, 4 days later, I tried to boot it:
- on the info panel it shows: starting system please wait...
- the first 2 drives blink, then stay lit, unblinking
- the other 2 drives light themselves up, unblinking green, too
- the blue (power) button is lit
- the green (disks) button blinks
and then poof, the units shutsdown, as if the power cable had been pulled.
Any idea ? I'm kind of frantic now....
Unit (6604T) will not boot anymore

Fully remove and then reseat all drives and RAM, see if that resolves your issue.
Failing that, try powering on without drives.

I'll start with the RAM and the 2 caches, and if does not work, I go with the 4 enclosed drives. Unseating would mean disk re-initialization, right ?ilike2burnthing wrote:Fully remove and then reseat all drives and RAM, see if that resolves your issue.

Either way, I'll keep you posted.

Turns out it was an unseated NVMe drive.jfgratton wrote:I'll start with the RAM and the 2 caches, and if does not work, I go with the 4 enclosed drives. Problem solved, thanks for the suggestion, @ilike2burnthings. Wouldn't have expected it, I moved the unit in its box, inside a stuffed box.
