I have a LOCKERSTOR 6604. I've added 4GB or RAM and just put a 500GB NVMe SSD in (model #below). I have been able to mount it. Unfortunately, The option to setup SSD caching is grayed-out. I am not sure how to fix it. I tried formatting the drive as both EXT4 and BTFRS.
Does anyone have any suggestions.
SSD NVMe model:
Seagate Firecuda ZP500GM3A001

I guess you created volume 2 using that SSD. You can only use SSD / M.2 as volume or cache exclusively.

Creating it as a volume is the only way I can see to make the SSD show as a device on the management screen.
Also, my volume 1 (which is the regular 4-hard-drive array) does show up with the option to be used as a cache.

Delete volume 2, select volume 1, click management button.

ah. It is so easy once it is pointed out. I thought the management button applied ONLY to the device selected below.
