Disks Always Chattering
AS 5403T I notice the disks are chattering like data is being read or written to them,but there is nothing going on from my home network at all. Is this normal? Happens all day long when the NAS is operational. They will go quiet for a fews seconds then start again, the 4 disks are setup as Raid 5

It could be caused by software activities or disk itself.
You can use ADM web -> Settings -> Hardware -> Diagnostic tool to find out which processes are working. To use the tool, you'll start it and close ADM web page. Then wait for the task to gather information (duration is showed within that tool). After that, go to that page and check result.
If no activities, it should be caused by disk itself.
