The System Information applet on my new AS5304T shows "Intel Celeron CPU @ 2.00 GHz". That display does not seem to vary with cpu load.
I would have expected to see 1.50 GHz for the J4105 that is anticipated to be in the machine. Is my machine consistent with other AS5304t's?
Is there a CPU ID utility available for the ADM system to confirm that this is a J4105?

Re: CPU Frequency on AS5304T
If you can use ssh, you can try the commands:
Code: Select all
cat /proc/cpuinfo
dmidecode

Re: CPU Frequency on AS5304T
Thanks, orion. Total Linux newbie here...
dmidecode yields "Operation not permitted", but cat /proc/cpuinfo returns the following:
Intel(R) Celeron(R) J4125 CPU @ 2.00GHz
which is interesting: it appears Asustor may have made a running upgrade to the J4125 on the Nimbstor 4 bay production line, unless I am mis-interpreting the results...
I considered for a while whether to spend more than $100 more to get the Lockerstor 6604 or a Synology 920+, mostly for the small reported performance increment of the J4125 vs. the J4105 that had been reported as the AS5304T processor.
