How to change admin account name or create new user...?

Hi.

1. I try changing the admin account name but I can't anyone know how..?
2. I try to create a new account with a new name but some of the options are missing like 2-way verification and after I create the new one I can't delete or disable the admin one..?

Hi,

You can't change admin name ... not due to Linux ... but to the fact that lot of basic software are launch under this user ... and it's like hard-coded.

The good question is why did you want to remove it ... because it's possible to use it at minimal (for admin GUI) and no more ???
You can define new user, eventually not directly in ADM for specific usage like using Entware APKG with a separate user management, or if you have Linux skill ... by creating your own chroot and namespace environment to jail some application and preserver / control visibility of NAS's data.

Also remember that also a real root user exist sharing password with admin user.
admin like root user name are not a security hole ... it's just a name ... and if you use only other user name for working the risk as the same as in a Linux box.
