AS6604T: No IP Address after ADM Update
I have a new AS6604T, with 4 HDDs in RAID 6. It is directly connected to my router and I am accessing it via my laptop over the browser.
After the initial setup and configuration and everything smoothly done, the final step was to do the ADM Firmware Update.
After the reboot on the last step of firmware update, the NAS is not accessible on the network, and it shows as 0.0.0.0 on the NAS screen.
What went wrong and how to fix it?

Try restarting again. Also try unplugging the LAN cable for few moment then reconnect it back. You can also try the other port see if you can get another IP just to get back into control so you can find out what happened to the previous port
Else you can try rear pin reset as stated here which will also revert the network https://www.asustor.com/en/knowledge/de ... oup_id=622.

I did the following:Nazar78 wrote:Try restarting again. Also try unplugging the LAN cable for few moment then reconnect it back. You can also try the other port see if you can get another IP just to get back into control so you can find out what happened to the previous port

1. Restarted the NAS with the network cable on and also once without the network cable on - Comes back to 0.0.0.0
2. Changed the ports in the router and restarted - Comes back to 0.0.0.0
3. Tried to manually set the IP from the front panel - Comes back to 0.0.0.0
4. Reset Configuration by pressing the reset button at the back - Comes back to 0.0.0.0
The NAS shows Blue and Green Light on the left top corner and all the HDDs light shows green.
The front panel shows "Asustor NAS" and 0.0.0.0
It is still not accessible via the network.

Re: AS6604T: No IP Address after ADM Update
Something must have gone wrong with the update. Log into your router admin, does it shows it assigned any IP to the NAS? Usually if this happens to me, I would boot using Live USB to troubleshoot both the DOM and OS but since it's a new NAS, suggest you contact Asustor Support for assistance.

Re: AS6604T: No IP Address after ADM Update
I tried on the router and it does not show up on the list of devices with IPs. Though the connection lights on the router shows something is connected.Nazar78 wrote:Something must have gone wrong with the update. I have opened a ticket with Asustor Support and will wait for them to respond and will update here when they do.

Re: AS6604T: No IP Address after ADM Update
Same issue after the upgrade for me. I also have an AS6604T.
And now it's impossible to open a support ticket: I'm receiving login errors all the time + it's an error when I'm asking for the reset password.

Make sure you take all the pics of front and back and also if possible give them the health logs.
I am still waiting for a solution for my ticket.

Re: AS6604T: No IP Address after ADM Update
I'm able to connect to my NAS again: I've switched off the LAN cable from the NAS and I put it to another LAN port (e.g. LAN1 -> LAN2 or vice versa). The NAS has recognized the real IP address. I had to restart a few times cause of unavailable docker apps.
Only the myasustor.com DDNS service is not working, the NAS refuses any values in the Cloud ID field.
