Hi,
I have an Asustor AS5304T. I have connected two ethernet cables to both the ports on the device (from my router setup).
Then, I setup link aggregation by setting it to : Link 1 + Link 2 (and then chose load balancing) in the interface to setup.
Is this sufficient enough the activate Link aggregation ? Or do I need to do anything else ?
Thanks,
How to use Link Aggregation ?

The other side (switch/router) has to support the protocol too remember.

Re: How to use Link Aggregation ?
Just to be clear, depending on the selected mode, especially 802.3ad which requires all nodes to have support for the protocol, typically on the NAS, using adaptive method doesn't need such requirements.chris.e wrote:The other side (switch/router) has to support the protocol too remember.

Re: How to use Link Aggregation ?
I recently changed my nas to the same setup, to verify it is working you can try librespeed, it should show increase speed over your LAN, but that is basically it, don't think there are much other benefits then that. Just my 5 cents.
Kind regards
