myHD don't start after ADM update

Post by jojeta »

Hi
I have been running myHD with kodi for some time now, but today I was stupid and updated my Nas AS-6302T to latest ADM version 3.4.4.RAT2 after that myHD do not work if I try to restart it gives me this:
myHD don't run ??? so nothing to do ...
myHD start ... requested
get keys from Asportal / get sound def.
myHD astr user exist ...
Download Ubuntu if not yet available
Hum! myHD is already started

And the restart is in red.
I try uninstalling and reinstall myHD, with same result. Some suggestion?

Hi,

Please do a full log for start :
1) do in a terminal under root / your_admin_password (ATTENTION use root NOT admin)
myHD stop (in case of residual things)
2) do :
/bin/sh -x /usr/local/bin/myHD start

... get result directly on screen ... then post here.

If you have uninstalled myHD and want to get trace of start at install time do BEFORE install
in a terminal
touch /share/Public/.myHD_trace_run (this file will be deleted at start phase of myHD)
result of myHD start at install will be in /tmp/start_myHD.log

But uninstall / install is not the first solution to try ... sometimes a myHD stop then a reboot ... can be an alternative BUT PLEASE use the first log here before.

Philippe.
I don't fall in this problem ... so only you can provide information.

Good news, I don't know why, but a previous myHD seem to be running and refuse to stop after A.D.M. update, I will try to identify the problem, but I can't reproduce it on my own NAS ... so difficult.
