I have redo a test ... all seem to works as expected only points :
... no sound tests (I run test on a remote platform (I am in France and platform somewhere in the world ... ) and Vnc server provide image of Asportal but not sound.
... ... BUT all configuration and trace seems to said ... sound is O.K.
... one kernel module (provide by me on 3.3) is missing for now ... this will be updated in few days with an update of myHD (updating myHD don't impact Ubuntu env. nor applications associated)

I have just installed myHD for the first time 0.9.4 I then installed Kodi 18 and Netflix it looks really good but I have 2 problems 1. no sound(both Kodi and Netflix) I use HDMI (is that the problem you describes?) and problem 2.have to exit Netflix to get back to the ADM 3.3.2.RJ12.

1 ... I just said that I have no solution to test sound, because I do test using a remote server (inside Asustor shared with other dev. intergrators) .. and can only use Vnc, so without sound
... BUT verify you have correctly configured the sound output in Kodi ... , kodi is started forcing Alsa (for AVR pass-through) so, test others audio output in system menu ... try HDA Intel PCH (better with your screen after), by default sometimes Kodi choice analog output ...

2 ... I don't understand, can you explain (exit netflix (in fact Chrome) will be done using mouse move from top ... to get a X to close ... or F11 to exit fullscreen mode and using top rigth x button to close.

Please post in separate message for each problem.

After a new test ... seem some problem exist with netflix to leave full screen ... so use <ALT>F4 to kill the window and return to Asportal (I will check if it's linked to last Chrome update ...)

Alt F4 worked but normally I don't have a keyboard connected to the Nas, I continue other problem in the old, thanks for fast respons.

Regarding no sound, I have checked setting in Kodi, but as it is both Kodi and Netflix whitch is without sound I expect it to be some commen the myHD. Can I miss some instalation I first installed myHD_0.9.4_x86-64.apk and then MH-kodi18_18.1_x86-64.apk and then MH-netflix_1.0_x86-64.apk I have don nothing els do I miss somthing?

I can't reproduce the problem all works as expected on my system
... did you check Asportal setting for sound ?
... do you have another application from Asustor working with sound ?
... for kodi be sure that sound is not at level 0 (a problem with first beta)
... did you do the upgrade to get the last Kodi version ?
... at end try to test sound and post here result of aplay -l, aplay -L in myHD and test using speaker-test ...

I have do a uninstalling and install again and no change.
