now I use one mouse to control Kodi , but one thing is inconvenient is that the mouse cannot control the volume of Kodi.
even the volume control of AiRemote is useless
now I can only use one kyeboard and press "+" or "-" to increase or decrease the volume of Kodi !

Hi,
... droidmote for a full control at low level ... with droimote server APKG NOT ONLY for Kodi
... Home remote control ... that use ssh (the one in myHD to avoid to add some x tools in A.D.M. (even not so difficult) NOT ONLY for Kodi
... Kore ... the official remote control on Android from Xbmc fundation
... for IOS Official Kodi Remote , Sybu ...
... Yaste alternative to Kore
... etc. etc.
Philippe.
N.B. for independent hardware, you can also (as I use myself) a mini keyboard / pad ... like Rii Mini i8 or equivalent.

Hi,
to test I have only a small audio extractor from HDMI, or direct SPDIF to a small decoder : DTS , Dolby digital Prologic 2
You can check with Kodi forum your config ... how you configure passthrough which device you select and normally only the list of supported encoding (supported by AVR if it is able to send a correct EDID descriptor to Kodi through Linux.
So my poor recommendation are :
be sure to be at last Kodi update
be sure that myHD is up to date (Ubuntu)
check EDID to see if Linux is able to understand AVR response.
show (here) your Kodi audio configuration
eventually post kodi log ...
Philippe.
I don't have any expertise in audio configuration ...yabba234 wrote:Under my AS6602T Kodi produce multichannel PCM. No real passtrougth Dolby Atmos or DTS HD MSTR.

Hi Philippe, solution is very simple:father.mande wrote:Hi,I don't have any expertise in audio configuration ...yabba234 wrote:Under my AS6602T Kodi produce multichannel PCM. No real passtrougth Dolby Atmos or DTS HD MSTR.

Under player setting in Kodi disable "sync playback to display option" because it breaks passthrough in Kodi.
Now work Atmosferę and DTS HD MSTR both.

The problem arises that Kodi is launched twice.
It would be good for the script to check if by chance kodi is not already running.
The situation occurs after a NAS reboot.
Stopping and restarting myHD restarts correctly.
Code: Select all
root@xxx:/volume1/home/admin # myHD_root
root@xxx:~# ps ax | grep kodi
20 ? S 0:00 /bin/su - astr -c /myHD_scripts/Apps/MH_kodi19.sh
45 ? Ss 0:00 /bin/sh /myHD_scripts/Apps/MH_kodi19.sh
48 ? S 0:00 /bin/sh /usr/bin/kodi
53 ? Rl 0:30 /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu kodi/kodi.bin
1164 ? S 0:00 /bin/su - astr -c /myHD_scripts/Apps/MH_kodi19.sh
1172 ? Ss 0:00 /bin/sh /myHD_scripts/Apps/MH_kodi19.sh
1175 ? S 0:00 /bin/sh /usr/bin/kodi
1180 ? RLl 0:15 /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu kodi/kodi.bin
1260 ? S+ 0:00 grep --color=auto kodi
